Bang Lamung was located in Ban Bang Lamung, Tambon Bang Lamung.
The government downgraded Bang Lamung to be a district, with the
district office located on the bank of Khlong Nok Yang. Later
when the Khlong Nok Yang was not convenient for transportation
anymore, the district head Phraya Sattaya Nukun (Choem) moved
the district office to the nearby seashore in Tambon Na Kluea
in 1909.
